The University of Portsmouth Rowing Club was founded in 2009, as such it hasn't much history to talk about, however, since then the club has grown year on year; expanding and developing, creating the history that people will talk about in years to come.

It is currently one of the biggest clubs in the Athletic Union and our plan is to keep growing and improving to become competitve at all BUCS events, both indoor and outdoor, with a view to sending crews to non-university regattas, e.g Henley Royal Regatta.

 

As a club we welcome rowers of all experience, our club squad structure means we will have a place for anyone; from complete beginners to experienced athletes.
